“The Deep Injection Process allows a quick, yet permanent solution to weak soil strata below pavement and concrete assets. This process also minimizes traffic congestion and reduces delays that would potentially create accident situations for travelers.”
Correcting weak soil strata at the source.
Utilize URETEK Deep Injection Process to stabilize the foundation soils prior to replacement of the failed pavement section. This is accomplished by drilling multiple 3/4″ holes through the existing pavement and injecting polymer through tubes, placed at minus 3′ to minus 4′ from the pavement surface. This is usually done on a 4′ grid pattern. URETEK monitors the surface using laser monitors and/or dial indicators and knows that the roadway has become adequately supported when an indication of movement is detected on the monitors.
About Soil Stabilization Utilizing High-Density Polymer
Our ground improvement solutions are ideal for public and private structural assets with settlement problems that are the result of unstable soil conditions. The URETEK repair technology is ideally suited to void fill, seal, lift, and/or stabilize the soils below various foundation types.
- Case Study
At URETEK, our goal is to provide customers with quality solutions that solve soil issues directly at their source. Our soil compaction and densification process focuses on repairing and strengthening the areas where problematic soil and concrete settlement exists. URETEK’s state-of-the-art high-density polymer expanding foam injection process strengthens weak or loose soil strata, re-levels concrete, and restores the soil’s load-bearing capacity; all while being non-destructive and environmentally friendly!
URETEK provides effective, affordable, and safe repair techniques for stabilizing underground soils. As the pioneer in ground improvement solutions with expanding polymer injection, we continue to be the industry leader with non-disruptive soil and concrete repair solutions. Our ground improvement solutions are ideal for public and private structural assets with settlement problems that are the result of unstable soil conditions. The URETEK repair technology is ideally suited to void fill, seal, lift, and/or stabilize the soils below various foundation types.
The URETEK stabilization solutions are ground improvement and re-leveling techniques that raise concrete slabs and fill voids using the regulated injection of lightweight, hydro-insensitive, non-hazardous expanding structural polymer.
