Our History

Since 1989, URETEK USA has put thousands of customers in complete control of their soil stabilization and pavement lifting problems, saving them millions of dollars in costly repairs, downtime, and disruption. View our company history below.

1975 – URETEK Finland began work with special formulations of high-density polymers. A limited number of specialized structural resin components were selected from a wide cross-section of possible blended characteristics. URETEK 486 – our brand name -was selected for this unique system of lifting and undersealing concrete.

1979 – URETEK advanced the equipment technology of total proportion and injection control of the product. After years of experimental development and technique modification, The URETEK Method was patented in the United States (U.S. Patent No. 4,567,708) and other countries around the world. Further patents have followed. Now, URETEK Worldwide offers direct service offices in 13 European countries, Turkey, Canada, Japan, South Korea and Australasia. 1997 – URETEK patented a unique system for restoring load transfer and fast, permanent repair for jointed or cracked pavements. The URETEK Stitch-In-Time process also makes it easy to use precast concrete panels for full depth road repair, new roadway sections, and bridge decks.

2000 – URETEK introduced the Deep Injection Process, our proprietary system for increasing the bearing capacity of foundation soils for pavements, slabs and structures. This process utilizes specially selected polymer formulations to void fill, expand, and densify carefully identified low load-bearing compressible soil strata which may require attention.

2003 – URETEK’s Deep Injection patent is issued in the United States and Canada.
